Kurt Warner paced the 48-19 rout with 300 yards and three touchdowns, two to Larry Fitzgerald, who finished with a fantasy-friendly 171 yards. Marc Bulger threw for just 176, two picks, and a score.

Steelers Win Pyrrhic Victory

The Steelers earned their tenth victory of the season, beating St. Louis 41-24, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports. The victory, which will ensure Pittsburgh a place in the playoffs with a Brown loss on Sunday, came at a heavy cost, as league leading rusher Willie Parker suffered a broken leg on only the second play from scrimmage.

Cleveland Survives Blizzard, Bills

Browns Stadium looked better suited for the Winter Olympics, but instead hosted football today, and its tenants defeated Buffalo 8-0. Cleveland's formula was simple: hand off to running back Jamal Lewis instead of throwing into 40-mph winds. Kicker Phil Dawson somehow managed to make two field goals as the Browns (9-5) tied Pittsburgh for first place. The Bucs defense also stopped Clinton Portis on fourth and inches on the Tampa Bay 5. But with Corey Chavous battling a pectoral injury and Jerome Carter (foot) likely out for the season and Todd Johnson suffering a sprained neck against Arizona, the Rams needed to find somebody to provide depth.Johnson and Carter suffered their injuries against the Cardinals and cornerback Ron Bartell was forced to step in at safety.Jue is in his seventh season after being released by San Diego. In his six previous seasons, Jue has posted 181 tackles, 1.5 sacks, six interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Some Rams fans might remember the team%u2019s interest in Jue before he signed with San Diego as a free agent before the 2005 season.Jue will provide depth this week depending on the status of Chavous and Johnson. Rams coach Scott Linehan said Monday he was optimistic Chavous could return this week and Johnson would be available. If not, it%u2019s possible Bartell would be at free safety with Oshiomogho Atogwe moving to the strong safety spot.Carter is expected to go on injured reserve to make room for Jue as the Rams have a roster exemption this week for defensive tackle Claude Wroten%u2019s return from a four-game suspension.Linehan also indicated Monday that the Rams would be looking to add a receiver this week because of the ankle injury to Dante Hall and the leg injuries for Isaac Bruce and Dane Looker. The team added receiver Brandon Williams to the roster. Williams played for San Francisco most recently.

49ers Squeak Past Rams, 17-16

The St. Louis Rams could have clinched their first win a number of times yesterday, but their attempts in the fourth quarter fell short and finally fell through, Sportsline reports. Dante Hall dropped a punt return, which led to a 49ers field goal, and Jeff Wilkins' own 56-yard attempt went just 55 yards, letting the Niners hold onto their lead.
